Frequently Asked Questions

What is Daily Selah AboutDaily Selah was birthed out of a desire to bring worship back into the business place.

So often we separate our lives into neat little compartments: this one is for work, this one is for family, this one is for church, etc. We divide our lives up into sacred and secular, but we were never meant to live that way.

I Corinthians 9:23 reads, “I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.” What we can take from this is that we should live our lives in such a way that everything is done with the ultimate aim of bringing glory to God and to the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.

The word Selah is translated as “stop and listen” and was used often in the Psalms to give the listener a chance to pause and think about the previous line.

In a similar way, we hope that the Daily Selah will give you a chance to take a short break from your day to join us for a time to worship and to ponder.

At this time we have decided that the best way accomplish this is to utilize external music players.

Q) Where do you get the music used in the Daily Selah messages?A) Our worship leader, Jake, does his best to find and use music that comes from a true worshiper’s heart. In doing so he uses music that he has come in contact with throughout the years as well constantly looking for new music. As we move forward with the Daily Selah messages Jake hopes to incorporate more music from some of the lesser known but anointed songwriters/musicians that he comes across.

Q) Where can I buy the music used in the Daily Selah messages?A) We often use music that is not available through typical mainstream music outlets. When this happens we will attempt to provide links or contact information that you can use to purchase the song that is featured.
